The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has released its list of the world’s
cheapest cities to live in, based on the average cost of living.
Compared to the 2011 list, Manila ,
Philippines and Tunis , Tunisia
was replaced by Muscat , Oman , and Katmandu ,
Nepal . The
other eight cities are still on the list. It can be observed that the cheapest
cities belong to Asian and Middle Eastern countries.
